XG panel

XG is an ASG-29.  From upper left, Cambridge 302 vario, one of the GPS mice on top, Euro FLARM, 57mm ASI, Cambridge 303 LCD Navigation Display, PDA (can't recall what it is running), Winter vario with speed ring, Clearnav (controller in 57mm cut-out just below the water loading chart), Altimeter,  USB-out from Clearnav, Dittel FSG radio.

When one Clearnav failed, another was validated and has replaced the first one (by request from our Team Captain to the CD).  At times, we've flown with the third, though only the nominated primary and secondary can be scored.

To keep everything cool (not really cool, given the ambient temp), we are using multiply-redundant solar shielding - a platinum cover, with a white cotton liner over it, with a car windshield reflector on top...  Maria taping the winglet at the right wingtip.

Here's a shot of my dash - after being dusted using a swiffer cloth (not kidding). On my way from the motel to the tent, to await the finish on Thursday.  41.5C.
